Small grants 31 July deadline to drive diversity and inclusion during #FootballPeople weeks approaches
The #FootballPeople small grants deadline of July 31 is rapidly approaching for organisation wishing to support hundreds of projects across Europe in and around Europe’s largest series of social interventions in sport.
Grants of up to €500 are available for organisations to apply and organise activities during the period at local or regional level that promote diversity and social inclusion. You have until 31 July to apply - just over 24 hours.
In 2017, 2,300 activities were organised during the #FootballPeople weeks in 62 countries. A total of 114,000 people took part in the campaign and on social media we have been showcasing some great examples of activities performed during last year's action weeks. This year you can be one of them.

Planning around the #FootballPeople weeks came earlier this year. In April, Fare announced the first four beneficiaries of the #FootballPeople Development Grants, a new grant scheme that promotes regular football activities around the campaign.
Also in April, Fare launched the Event Grants scheme to give grant recipients more time to prepare and organise their interventions. These will be announced on farenet.org in the upcoming weeks.
The 2018 #FootballPeople action weeks will take place between 11-25 October.
To apply, please read through the grant criteria carefully and follow instructions. Deadline for applications is 31 July. The application form is available here.
