Fare network invites members and representatives of civil society and sport organisations from across the Balkans to take part in the Balkan Football Exchange 2026: Strengthening Equality, Inclusion and Community, taking place on 24–25 September 2026, in Belgrade, Serbia.
The event will bring together around 50 participants for a regional discussion focused on equality, inclusion and strengthening community action through sport.
The event will provide a space to identify and discuss current challenges affecting football and communities across the region, including discrimination, nationalism, hate speech, unequal access and representation, and institutional accountability.
Through discussions, working sessions and networking, participants will share experiences and approaches, build connections with organisations working in similar contexts, and identify priorities and opportunities for future regional cooperation.
The experiences, perspectives and priorities of organisations working across the Balkans will shape the discussions and help identify areas where stronger regional connections and cooperation would be valuable.
