A fan club of Bundesliga 2 side MSV Duisburg will host the 12th International conference of the Queer Football Fan Clubs (QFF) to meet in solidarity and share experiences this weekend (22 – 24 March) in Duisburg, Germany.
The 'Rainbow Zebras' will organise the event under the motto “Passion doesn’t hurt” with over 80 members of the network to elect a new speakers committee for the next two years and review their joint work.
"Here in Duisburg, we are glad to have the opportunity to once more underline the diversity of QFF’s work and to plan anti-discrimination activities", outlined Lars Wessel, member of the QFF board of directors.
This year’s conference will feature four workshops, in which delegates will have the opportunity to explore ideas and discuss issues around fan culture, international cooperation, develop partnerships and establish new goals.
On Saturday afternoon, the participants will join together in an action to mark European Week Against Racism.
