The FARE Slovak member L’udia Proti Rasizmu will host a European networking conference ‘Free Kick for Equality’ as part of the ‘Football for Equality – Tackling racism and homophobia’, project on April 26th in Bratislava.
The conference will focus on developing cross-sectional approaches to eradicating discrimination in sport, in particular football, from racism and homophobia to nationalism or sexism.
Grassroots activists and NGO’s involved in challenge discrimination and inequalities will attend the three day get-together as an open space for organisations to present their initiatives.
The event is free to attend and welcomes all of those who are active in the field of human rights to participate.
The ‘Football for Equality’ initiative is a European project carried out by various partner organisations of the FARE Network, led by FairPlay-VIDC in Vienna and co-funded by the Fundamental Rights and Citizenship programme of the European Commission.
