Bienvenida a Brenda Elsey al equipo Fare network
Fare network se complace en dar la bienvenida a la Dra. Brenda Elsey al equipo como su nuevo Líder de Desarrollo para las regiones de CONMEBOL y CONCACAF.
La Dra. Elsey diseñará programas, identificará problemas de discriminación y brindará apoyo analítico y de investigación para promover el trabajo de la red Fare en las Américas.
La Dra. Elsey es profesora asociada en la Universidad de Hofstra y codirector de Estudios de América Latina y el Caribe. Ella tiene un doctorado de SUNY-Stony Brook en Historia y Estudios de la Mujer y el Género, ha investigado y escrito ampliamente sobre la importancia social y política del fútbol en América Latina, con atención a la discriminación de género, sexual, de clase y racial.
Además de su investigación, la Dra. Elsey ha trabajado con organizaciones de fútbol femenino en América Latina en el desarrollo de proyectos de base.
