Objavljeni dobitnici grantova za projekte borbe protiv homofobije u nogometu
Na nedavno objavljenom konkursu Fare network-a i FvH-a (Football v Homophobia) za dodjelu manjih grantova za finansiranje projekata i aktivnosti u okviru Međunarodnog mjeseca borbe protiv homofobije i transfobije u nogometu, zabilježen je veliki odaziv organizacija iz cijele Europe, od zapadnog Portugala do istočne Rusije.
Ovaj mjesec LGBT aktivizma u nogometu koji se dešava u veljači inspirirao je i brojne organizacije sa područja bivše Jugoslavije, pa je od dvadeset dobitnika ovih grantova čak deset sa Balkana.
Odabrani projekti će imati cilj stvarati nogomet sigurnim i prihvatajućim mjestom za LGBT osobe, potencirati prigode za njih u nogometu i športu uopće, kao i slaviti različitosti među ljudima.
Direktorica FvH-a Lou Englefield je tim povodom kazala: “Zaprimili smo veliki broj aplikacija i imali veoma težak zadatak da odaberemo najbolje prijedloge, a posebno smo impresionirani velikim odazivom iz Centralne i Istočne Europe među kojima su mnoge organizacije koje ranije nisu bile dijelom našeg projekta. Brojni predloženi edukativni projekti, izložbe, kazališne predstave i audio dokumentarci o homofobiji u nogometu će svakako dodati dozu inovativnosti u načinu suočavanja s ovim problemom.”
Podsjećamo, u 2015. godini tisuće ljudi u Engleskoj, Španjolskoj, Belgiji, Francuskoj i Poljskoj su se pridružili ovim inicijativama suzbijanja diskriminacije bazirane na seksualnom i rodnom identitetu, a kroz posljednjih pet godina ovaj povjesni mjesec za LGBT zajednicu dobio je širok međunarodni karakter.
