The two daylong sessions, in London and Burton-on-Trent on 25 November and 2 December respectively, will provide practical training on how to prevent and tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in football and guidance on how to develop strategies to ensure that LGBT people feel included, valued and supported while practising the sport.

Anti-homophobia initiatives, including the LGBT History Month, Football v Homophobia Month of Action and Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign, will be discussed and will explore how grassroots and football bodies can get involved.

A panel of experts from across football and LGBT inclusion will address the topic and share good practice from other professional and grassroots clubs and leagues.

The initiatives will be organised as part of English Football’s Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination Action Plan 2013-17.
