Erasmus+ Project, PsyTool, disseminated at the ISSP World Congress of Sport Psychology in Seville
The latest findings, analysis and recommendations of the project PsyTool have been presented at the International Society of Sport Psychology world congress in Seville.
For the duration of the 14th ISSP world congress of sport psychology, members of the project PsyTool engaged with guests who attended the congress, through keynote speeches, presentation of posters and at the symposium 'Forming agents of change for enhancing positive practice of youth sport'.
The project was well disseminated during the posters sessions with two pieces, one on Sport Psychology as a strategic tool for prevention and training in grassroots sport, which outlined the project's overall goals, presented the delivered activities to final beneficiaries and forecasted the next steps of the implementation of the project.
The symposium, which took place on Thursday 13 July was carried out to present the main findings of the project thus far. The session was structured in five different parts providing the project's general guidelines and proposals; EU concerns, ideas and programs related to the project; design and theoretical background of the project; PsyTool platform, lessons, and structure; PsyTool reflexion of 'agents of change'.
The symposium was highlighted by the presentation of certificate to some 'agents of change' including professional referees, journalist, sport psychology students and coaches.
The project will complete it's lifecycle December 2017 and a conference is scheduled to happen in November in London. The conference will be a wrap up of the project and propose ideas on how to give continuation to the project beyond it's original lifecycle.
