USIP campaign looking to boost opportunities for women in Italian football
On Saturday 12 December Fare founder UISP will hold a series of events in Bologna as part of its GOL (Generi Oltre I Limiti) campaign a season-long initiative looking to promote women's football and boost opportunities for women in Italian football.

"GOAL - Generate Over the Edge" is a campaign for the promotion of women's football in Italy, in schools and sports clubs, for the reduction of inequalities that prevent the development of a healthy passion for soccer to women. The campaign is developed in a calendar of events that aim to raise the profile of women's football. The project is in line with the European Charter on the rights of women in sport, created and promoted by Women Uisp in 1985 together with athletes and sports journalists.

In Italy, Fare founder UISP and the Italian Players Union will kick-off a season-long campaign that will come to an end during at the UEFA Womens Champions League final in May 2016, on women’s football. Two football tournaments will be organised during the Football People weeks to launch the campaign.

Questo lo slogan con cui il 12 dicembre si aprirà in piazza dell'Unità a Bologna la seconda tappa della campagna "GOL - Genere Oltre il Limite", promossa dalla Aic (Associazione italiana calciatori) insieme all'Aiac (Associazione italiana allenatori calcio), alla Rete Fare (Football Against Racism in Europe) e alla Uisp (Unione Italiana Sportpertutti).
L'iniziativa, finalizzata a promuovere il calcio femminile in Italia attraverso piccoli tornei di strada, sarà presentata alla stampa il giorno stesso, sabato 12 dicembre alle ore 12 in piazza dell'Unità a Bologna, accanto alla gabbia di calcio 5 contro 5 che ospiterà a seguire il secondo torneo del calendario.
Subito dopo la presentazione avrà inizio il torneo di street football 3vs3 e di calcio nella gabbia. "GOL - Generi Oltre il Limite" è una campagna per la promozione del calcio femminile in Italia, nelle scuole e nelle società sportive, per l'abbattimento delle disuguaglianze che impediscono lo sviluppo di una sana passione calcistica al femminile. La campagna si sviluppa in un calendario di eventi che puntano ad aumentare la visibilità del calcio femminile. Il progetto è in linea con la Carta europea dei diritti delle donne nello sport, ideata e promossa dalle Donne Uisp nel 1985 insieme con atlete e giornaliste sportive.
