#BeAGameChanger awards highlight inspirational women’s sport stories

he Women's Sport Trust #BeAGameChanger awards, supported by Microsoft, will, for the third year, showcase for the success stories and examples of sporting role models, leaders, journalists and businesses that drive real change for UK women’s sport.

Hundreds of nominations have been put forward by the general public and representatives from the sports industry, resulting in a total 35 finalists across 11 categories chosen by an panel of experts.

The public vote opened on 18 April and will end on 1 May. Winners will be announced on 11 May, on the awards night, to an audience including elite athletes, journalists, business people, politicians, sports leaders, grassroots influencers and young people involved in sport.

The #BeAGameChanger Awards uncover the best diverse talent both on and off the field, also recognising inspiring grass roots sports initiatives making a powerful difference in the community.

The Women’s Sport Trust raises the visibility and increases the impact of women's sport through the promotion of roles, increasing media coverage and improving funding.
