Racism Doesn’t Stop At The Terraces14 March 2003

Sports journalist, Gabriele Marcotti, has written an interesting article for UEFA’s online magazine. In it, he argues that, although still abhorrent, racist abuse from the terraces is only part of the picture. He feels that racism runs much deeper than that and is engrained within the game at all levels. Clubs need to do more to eradicate racism from their own organisations as well as tackle the problem in the stands.
