The project consists of a two-month course, running between July and August 2016 in the Spanish capital Madrid, focused on furthering the knowledge and build the capacity of young activists. During the months participants will attend classes, join discussions and engage in activities around the issues of diversity and human rights.

A grant scheme has been made available to support those interested in applying. It includes flights to and from Madrid, accommodation and living expenses and pocket money.

To apply participants must send a motivation letter and meet the requirements of being fluent in Castilian (Spanish) and/or English and younger than 35 years old.

The Spanish Observatory against LGBT-phobia is governmental backed organisation looking to raise awareness of LGBT-phobia, report and denounce violence against LGBT people and support the victims of prosecution and attacks.
