17th November, Charleville
FOOT ENSEMBLE will organise a workshop and demonstration to launch a new game. In the form of a video game called ‘A gay player in my team’, a tool has been created for training, communication and simulation, which will help to promote the awakening of individual consciousness. The game’s objective is to put young people in a situation and make them aware of the consequences of their choices. The game can we replayed in order to understand other visions, thoughts and ideas. The player will be “in the shoes” of different people in a football club. He will be confronted with scenes of “ordinary” homophobia, different reactions to them and a hint that one of the team’s players might be homosexual. At each stage, the participant will have to make choices that will lead to different consequences for the club and its players.
