10-24th October, Cardiff
Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales will deliver two activities for the #FootballPeople weeks. In the first activity, 10 youth clubs will engage in a workshop against racism over the course of two weeks. Participants will be taught about the issues that face refugees and asylum seekers in Wales. Overall, there will be 200 participants that come from clubs located in areas where right-wing parties have recently gained votes. The second activity is a football match with local people, City and County Councillors and Assembly Members from the National Assembly for Wales, who will be joined by the groups who participated in the workshops.
