Moore Development challenges the status quo and actively promotes equality in and around the world of sport. The organisation is an advocate of social change in sport by working with national and international sports bodies, government and advocacy organisations to achieve a sustainable social impact using sports and educational programmes.
Moore Development will be working with co-Founder and Chair of Women in Football Anna Kessel in organising an event that will celebrate the achievements in football of Britain’s first black female footballer, Emma Clarke. Using the achievements of Clarke for inspiration, this event will bring together some of the most influential black and ethnic minority actors in the UK today. By having these powerful individuals under one roof, the event will provide a platform for prominent black voices to discuss Emma Clarke’s significance and legacy, for the very first time. Local school children will also be invited to attend, encouraging the next generation with Emma’s story that anything is possible.
